Jim Galsterer - Executive Director and Founder of TLC

TLC Founder - 1975

Master’s Degree - Marriage and Family Counseling, University of San Francisco, 1978

Bachelor of Arts Degree - Wayne State University, 1969

Jim began TLC in 1975 to provide specialized care for emotionally disabled children and their families. With help from our staff, local communities and donors, TLC has expanded our programs to five counties. Over the years, TLC has grown to over 130 employees offering services to 600 foster care clients annually. Jim has served as a volunteer on a variety of state and local organizations focused on children’s enviromental and educational issues.

With the support of my wife, Tina, and our two daughters, they make everything else I do worthwhile. We love gardening, camping, sports, and just about anything outdoors.

Andy Day - Associate Director

Chico State University, 1988, BA in Psychology and a double Minor in Child Development and Family Relations
San Jose State University, Master’s in Social Work, 1992

Work History
Andy started his career as a Child Care Worker and then returned to school and earned his degrees in child development and social work, He has experience as an in-patient psychiatric worker, a therapist, a school counselor and as a residential program director.

As the Associate Director, Andy oversees human resources, the residential treatment division and a host of other administrative responsibilities.

Andy loves living in Sonoma County, especially as it relates to all of the wonderful variety of culinary delights. He is an avid soccer player and golfer and cherishes spending time with his wife and daughter.

Amanda Atkinson - Human Resource Coordinator

Amanda has many years of customer service, management and hospitality experience and is now delighted to be a resource to TLC Child and Family Service’s dedicated team.
Amanda coordinates all aspects of Human Resources with particular expertise regarding on-boarding new employees, managing performance reviews and attending to health benefits for over 80 full time staff.

In her spare time she loves adventuring near and far with her husband and two sons while camping, hiking, kayaking and swimming.

Jessica Quigley - Front Office Administrative Assistant

Jessica Quigley came to TLC after several years working in sales and customer services. As a West Sonoma County native with strong connections to the community, she felt that it was time to put her administrative skills to use towards something closer to the heart. Jessica is passionate about helping people and is often the first face to greet both visitors and staff to the administration building front office area. Jessica supports all administrative functions of the Residential Treatment program and helps out anywhere else she is needed.

Jessica enjoys trail running with her dog, yoga, and any type of outdoor adventure!
