Work History
Jessica spent her first year at TLC working as a Social Worker Intern, in TLC’s Foster Family Agency, while she was completing her master’s degree. During her second year with TLC, she moved to the THP Program, to work with foster youth as a Transitional Youth Advocate. Shortly after she completed her Master’s degree, she began working as the Director of Admissions for the Residential Program. In addition, she spends a few hours a week working as a Therapist Intern in TLC’s outpatient therapy services.
Jessica has over 10 years experience working in and with residential treatment facilities and shelters serving first adults and then youth struggling with mental health issues.
Jessica is originally from Tulare and Los Angeles County but has lived in Sonoma County for the last 11 years. She spends her spare time as an artist and volunteers with other organizations that help youth and young adults find alternatives to destructive socialization.
