ABOUT US

TLC Child & Family Services is a non-profit organization that annually serves over 600 children who have been abandoned, neglected, abused or who are part of a growing population of children facing mental health challenges. Our main campus is located outside of Sebastopol, CA on seven acres of rural property complete with an apple orchard. On this site, we employ over 100 staff members who have an extensive background in social work, special education, counseling and child development.

We provide comprehensive services to five Northern California counties including Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Marin, and Lake.

Foster Care (Foster Family Agency)
…provides treatment foster care for children ages 5 to 18 and sibling groups.

Residentially-Based Services (Group Homes)
...provides safety, shelter, and support to adolescents for over 30 years.

Children's Emergency Shelter Services
...provides short term foster care for children in Mendocino County.

Adoption Services
...encourages foster parents to consider adoption as a potential for each foster child. TLC also assists in private adoption cases.

Transitional Housing Programs
...assists young adults in the foster care system with housing and gaining independence.

Journey High School
...provides non-public special education for students, ages 12-18, with emotional, behavioral or learning problems.

Outpatient Mental Health Services
...provides individual, family and group therapy to clients in TLC programs

Fostering Connections
...provides individual counseling to any child that is in or has been in foster care at no cost.
