Here is a poem we want to share with you that a 17 year old teen wrote about his experience on the Ropes Course during TLC Summer Programming.

 

"Yesterday"

 

And then I knew it was not myself who was lonely

It was me who was alone

With my present haunting me in a corner

Misleading me with the elements of my future

Blurring the elements of the past

Careers At TLC

 

Mendocino County Homes

 TLC Child & Family Services is seeking additional homes in the Willits and Ukiah area for our Shelter Care program. Applicants need to have at least one spare bedroom to provide care and supervision to a child for up to 30 days. A guaranteed monthly stipend is provided and there is a generous financial increase provided upon placement of child. All income received is tax-exempt. Experience with children is required although parenting training is provided. TLC also offers immediate access to a Social Worker, in-home support & respite.
