National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP)

TLC is proud to announce that we have been accepted as a NATSAP Full Member!

Since 1999 the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) has been the trade association representing residential treatment centers, therapeutic boarding schools, and wilderness programs that help troubled teens, young adults and their families. With many success stories, NATSAP has nearly 160 member schools and programs that treat 5000 adolescents and young adults annually. NATSAP also helps inform health care professionals and families about the many residential placement alternatives available to struggling young people.

Our Associate Director Andy Day and Director of Residential Treatment, Scott Matsuura recently attended the NATSAP Annual Conference in Tucson, Arizona. They enjoyed meeting representatives from other NATSAP programs and learned more about best practices related to assisting private sector families.  Some of the connections that were established will allow TLC to diversify our services to help support youth experiencing emotional and academic challenges.
