Outpatient Mental Health Services

Paula Solomon
Clinical Director

At TLC since 1991

Education
Temple University, BA in Psychology, MA in Education
Pacific Graduate School, 2nd MA in Psychology, Ph.D. in Psychology

Dr. Solomon has been the Clinical Director of TLC since 1991 and in the mental health field for longer than she will admit. She has an extensive therapeutic background that has included running a program for high-risk preschoolers, providing out patient services to Berkeley's large seriously mentally ill population, conducting recreational therapy in a psychiatric hospital, and providing clinical services at other adolescent programs. TLC is by far the most superior program in which she has ever been employed.

Paula's second passion is animal care. She volunteers with the Milo Foundation helping dogs and cats find their way out of abusive environments and into safe permanent homes. The rest of her free time is spent with her partner of 24 years and their menagerie- consisting of two dogs - Bucky and Emma, and two cats, Jojo and Bubba, all rescues from shelter and the streets.
