Community Outreach Volunteers

What you can do to help.

• Pass out information and speak at churches or other community gatherings about foster care and adoption.
• Post fliers in areas where foster parents are needed.
• Be a community resource for information about foster care and adoption.
• Be creative! This is largely a self-directed position with the freedom to educate the public about foster care and adoption in creative and dynamic ways.

Other ways to help.

• Become a foster parent with TLC Child & Family Services (must be minimum of 21 years).
• Volunteer to help us with our annual event, TLC4Kids Golf Tournament and Wine Country Feast. Be on a planning committee, help at the event or donate silent or live auction items.
• Consider joining our Board Of Directors.

Volunteer Requirements

• Enthusiasm for helping foster children and their families.
• All interested volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have two favorable professional references.
