- There are dozens of sites about bipolar disorder, but this is the most comprehensive and professional. Many of the others are not updated regularly, contain annoying popup ads or are personal stories. This site has on line communities, many links and is a great place to start.

The site for the Child and Adolescent Bipolar Foundation is a wonderful site with a learning center, scientific papers and research, news, a community center, videos and more.

The source for information about Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Contains curriculum, workshops, parent handbook and video, and many helpful links.

Intellihealth is an excellent source of medical information. . It contains information on medications, medical, dental and emotional disorders, and their treatments. It has columns on developmental stages, nutrition, and other topics of interest. It is easy to use and up to date.

Learning Disabilities Information and Resources presents a wealth of information on the various types of learning disabilities and their treatments. The KidZone features interactive components designed to help empower students with LD to communicate their needs to parents and teachers. There are discussion lists, a site search, and extensive listings of state and national agencies and organizations.

For parents and families affected by children with learning disabilities, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorders, or anyone who struggles with learning, this is the place to be. Filled with resources and support, with a very large section just for children ages 8 to 12.
