Adoption

Have you thought about opening your heart and your home to a child in need? There are thousands of children in California who are waiting for someone to care. Someone they can call Mom or Dad… a forever family. Perhaps it is you and your family!

TLC is licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services; we have a full-service adoption license. We serve Sonoma County, Mendocino County, and the greater bay area. Our core Adoption Program helps place foster children from birth to 17 years of age in fost-adopt homes. We also provide some services for domestic infant adoptions. Our Foster Care Adoption Program provides:

• Adoption planning, placement, and assistance through the finalization process
• Adoption home studies
• Generous payments to foster care and fost-adopt parents.
• Low adoption fees
• Ongoing parent groups for training and support
• Post-adoption services

We are looking for people with big hearts and a love of children, whose employment, housing, relationships, and health are stable. TLC Child & Family Services finalizes over 35 adoptions annually who have wonderful success stories to share.
