SPECIAL EDUCATION
Founded in 1988 as a Non-Public School program with a therapeutic component, TLC’s Journey High School is California state accredited. Journey High School offers highly specialized instruction to students, age 12-17, eligible for special education services in the areas of emotional disturbance and learning disabilities. Journey High School focuses on building academic strengths with a special emphasis on reading, written language, mathematics, social sciences, science, and general knowledge. Students identified with learning and emotional disabilities resulting in behavioral or academic deficiencies receive intensive education and counseling support. Our Outpatient Mental Health Services provides individual and group milieu therapy to all qualified students enrolled in Journey High School. Greg Boyle is the Principal of Journey High School and Ina Perlman is the Special Education Coordinator. For further information regarding Journey High School, please contact JHS@tlc4kids.org. |
